Wingnut Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Do they have to be horizontal stripes? Not so flattering, especially when the shirt is already 3 sizes too big.Leather skirt? Ugh -- I've never thought they looked very good.Patterned pants???? They look like "Hammer pants" -- why would anyone want to bring this fashion back?Knee high socks...how very 1995. Clueless. Quote
havejoy Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 The flats and the baggy pants are okay but everything else is yuk. Quote
pam Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Knee high socks...how very 1995. Clueless. 1995? haha I wore knee highs back in the 60's.Some of those outfits weren't THAT bad. The shorts would be out though as well as the shoulderless outfits. Quote
ADoyle90815 Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 I love the trousers, flats, and the "boyfriend" blazer. I'm not too sure about the "Hammer" patterned pants, or the leather skirt. The last time I really wore knee high socks was when I was a Girl Scout. The main problem with the jumpsuit isn't that it's sleeveless and strapless, it's having to use the bathroom while wearing it. Bini Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 I like some of that stuff. The cream stripes nautical shirt is cute. I also like the black hot pants and the sheer blouses. Quote
AmyKate88 Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Ick, it looks like the worst of the 80's fashion has come out to haunt us yet again. Will the aerobic kick boxing look never fade? Quote
Melissa569 Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Uh oh! Those big shirts/tight pants combos, crazy unmatching prints, poofy-pant body suits, tight leather mini skirts... The worst of the late 80's and early 90's are back! lol Quote
RachelleDrew Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 This site is stupid. I wore all this crap last year. Well, minus the MC Hammer pants. Those will never touch my legs. Quote
Wingnut Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 1995? haha I wore knee highs back in the 60's.Well, fashion does cycle through the decades, but for a style that was popular when I was in high school to be coming back again means I have to admit that I'm getting older. Quote
hordak Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 As i guy i know nothing of fashion, but even i know that looks absurd. On a side note the "revolving" fashion trends bother me because i missed it. As a child i was poor so i wore holey jeans, faded pants, worn out teeshirts, because we couldn't afford new cloths and i was ridiculed for it. Now i go to the store and people are paying $60 for these torn up clothes:rolleyes: Quote

Try twice that. The 80's has made a comeback in the music industry and fashion. Quote

Tarnished Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Oh why do we need to return to 80s fashions? Yeck, I didn't much care for them when I was young and now they just look old and out of style. Seriously I think the 80s is far too recent to bring the fashions from it back into style. I can guarantee that I will not be wearing any of that. Quote

yenni Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 I just have to giggle. A lot of that stuff is from the days of kindergarten, stuff I wore when attempting to "dress my self". MC Hammer pants, whhhy. :p Quote

talisyn Posted January 16, 2010 Report Posted January 16, 2010 The socks are cute. My daughter wears patterned high socks with leggings and her shiny black boots and looks like what Selena Gomez wants to be The boyfriend blazer is also cute, but do blazers ever go out of style? Quote
