Take the elevator up to the roof, hop the big iron grate they put there because it's hard to hop, run off the top of the building, hit the ground, then grab your chute and dive into the get away car and drive the heck away before the cops show up and arrest you.

I'd have something more 'shame on you'-esque to say, if I weren't laughing so hard that tears are streaming down my cheeks.

Wouldn't that make him a 4th and not a 3rd? If Jr. is 2nd, III would be his father and he'd be IV.

I had to think for a brief moment about that one too. But Hartman Rector Jr didn't name his own son after him. :)

I've said this before--the building just doesn't look that tall to me. But, there's something very endearing about someone doing something so wicked on (off?) that building, and you all know how much I love Wicked.

When the new Conference Center first opened and they allowed tours on the roof of that building a 6 or 7 year old (or so) climbed the 6 foot fence there and jumped off without a parachute. The parents were neglectfully nearby but felt the Church to be much more neglectful and sued for some undisclosed amount. Since then the top of the Conference Center and remained closed to the public.

Sometime I wonder if the greatest fans of such stunts become the worse critics when things do not turn out well.

Is that is because you haven't been up on top of the building before? I was just up there about three days ago. It is a very high building.

Interesting video. The jumpers are crazy, but it was interesting to watch.

The roof of the conference center is open to the public. I was there just 3 or 4 years ago.

No, I haven't been to the top, and I am basing it on looking at it from the ground. So, perhaps you're right.

well mebbe if youre comparing to the sears world tower or something... once youre on or right next to a building it gets a lot bigger.

;p

.... and it takes more guts to jump off smaller buildings.

What's the difference between falling off the 2nd floor, from falling off the 10th floor, and falling off the 30th floor?

2nd floor: <thud>, Ahhhhhhhh!

10th floor: Ahhhhhhh! <thud>

30th floor: Ahhhhhh! <panting> Ahhhhhh! <panting> Ahhhhhh! <thud>

Okay, I was being silly.
