The "Change Theme" link at the very bottom left WORKS!  I really like the IPS.board theme.  It's a much more "traditional" layout.

Yep I had noticed that too.  I like it much better.

And there is a new post button I've noticed.

Bold << bold works okay.

<< There should be a smilie here...but, it won't allow for it to be posted.

Red << this should be colored red but it's not.

Hello!

The black box should not be showing here from the spoiler.

These are a few things that I tried to see if formatting is working. On the preview:

That's all I checked so far. Not sure if it's helpful to you are not.

Bummer.  I like the cheeriness of the new layout.  I've always had a hard time with traditional Internet forum layouts that span the full width of the monitor and are completely sterile.  LDS.net never was quite like that, so I was fine with it.  I hope that some of those functionalities can be brought over to the "full version" theme.

Pam, this looks like some kind of cursive when I view it on my ipad (which runs K9 browser), but it just looks normal (and red) when I view it on my desktop (Windows XP running Firefox).

Welcome to CSS and browser differences. The bane of webdeveloper's existence.

Also, I can\'t get the text editor to show up on K9 for iPad. Oh, and I still have that funky apostrophe/backslash issue on my iPad.

No idea if there\\\'s a way to fix this; I\'m just reporting . . .

They haven't worked on the mobile device part of this yet.

In the old format, you could click on a person's name in a post, and get a drop-down menu that included "View all posts by..."  Without going through a full search, is there an easy way to "view all posts by..." anymore?

Click on the name it takes you to their profile.  Scroll down a bit to a menu item called posts... click it and view all of that users posts starting with the most recent.
