I’ve already reserved some names on the Herod server.

I was in the original beta back in the day.  I can almost make my own guild with my children now.

I never played WOW but I was thinking about trying classic when it becomes available (I love classic RPG's and played Everquest when it was fairly new). Let us know what you think when you get a chance to explore the server a bit.

So I take it you've never taken your profile image, created an anthro tiger OC with it, and sent him to watch virtual General Conference in Second Life either?

I started about two months before Wrath of the Lich King was released and played for about a year.  I enjoyed it a lot.  But it took waaaaay too much time.  I played a Resto Druid Night Elf.

Active wow player here (b-elf ret pali, cas' raider)*

I'll probably stick my foot into Classic just to test it, but I'm really not that interested.  It's a game about walking a journey with friends, and many of my friends walk a different pace than me--which is totally doable in the modern game, but not Classic.  It's just not my thing.  

 

*And yes, I'm being a dork and purposely using lots of slang here
