I'm really not surprised to see how the opinions go on this topic
Unfortunately, we as a democratic society have reached a kind of break point. What I'm trying to get to is what kind of people are we when we'd rather see someone's house burn down for lack of $75 than show a weakness like compassion?
Pres Monson is not Pres Hinckley is not Pres Benson. Not everyone will respond the same to each prophet, and indeed when you listen to someone from a different religion it sometimes takes a conscious act of will to not raise the defenses and batten down the spiritual hatches
I married because that's what you do when you want a family with a particular partner.
I divorced because I'm a daughter of God raising another daughter of God, and it was my responsibility to show the little one that sometimes you have to leave a bad situation after all you can do.
I married because (see first answer)
My nephews and oldest daughter are very competitive and very loud on trips. In order to save my sanity I managed to get them to play the 'who can hold their breath the longest' game. It's free, quiet, and on good days someone will turn purple
This guy got foreclosed on, happens to many people. However, this one has a twist... Foreclosure mistakes: Fort Lauderdale man's home sold in foreclosure mistake - South Florida Sun-Sentinel.com Imagine if he did have a mortgage that was up-to-date, how long that would take to fix, if ever
My sister is not very close to 50 and it took her about 7 months to find a job, any job lol. I'm sure older people are affected more but that's foolish for employers. Older workers usually have more experience, loyalty, and they don't use up quite so much in insurance and sick days/time off as those of childbearing years do
People relied too much on banks, and didn't read the fine print. After all, no one is gonna give you a loan you can't afford to pay, right? Weren't the sub-prime mortgages fine for the most part until the huge balloon payments and high interest rates kicked in? In other words, if most people hadn't got the sub-prime loans they would still be making payments and the economy wouldn't have tanked? Alas, for the greed of the money-lenders and the ignorance of many.
Sorry i missed the date today. I'm still foggy from lack of sleep the past few weeks. Gwendolyn still thinks day is night and night is day. We still have 2067 though!
I agree with Rose, it will be taken care of in time. But how annoying if you are descended from someone who died in the Holocaust and can't do the work for them!
I like the moderator comments. These are neat people with opinions I respect. I also like the posts from people like me, who will never be mods
It's all good, grab an ice-cold soda and enjoy the summer.
You really need to play Final Fantasy 11, or FFXI. We even have whole social/mission/quest groups dedicated to the players who don't want to listen or participate in profanity or other stuff
