I really like the books. There is a great story. I too have skimmed certain parts and wish they were not in there. I will not watch the shows based on what I know to be in the books as far as sexual content and what the entertainment industry will choose to show.

That is fine until your 50 minute window oversteps the parents decisions in what to teach or not teach their children. We can probably safely assume in a church setting that the parents are okay with the lessons since they sent thier children to the church. In the public educational system that is not necessarily the case. I do not have much control over what the teacher is saying or doing in the classroom and unless I choose to homeschool I do not have the option of not sending my kids. If the state adopts the "village" mentality, I will have no recourse against their indoctrinations. That is the left's agenda. That is what Melissa is pushing. That is a violation of my rights as a parent. That is also a violation of my free agency. That is one of the greatest dangers of the leftist philosophy. They have embraced socialism to varying degrees. Socialism = communism without the violence. Socialism/communism = satan's plan that we fought the war in heaven over. Satan is doing everything in his power to destroy families. You (general you, not specific to Jenamarie) think pornography and immorality is the only tool he uses to destroy familiies?

Contact your provider, their customer service should be able to walk you through it. Do you have your phone number listed in other places online that they might have been able to access it? You said your phone is also used for business. Could he have acquired it that way? Do you have facebook and list your number there. If you FB, do you have your privacy settings locked dow? Do you use linkedin and have your number listed there? There are all kinds of places people list thier numbers without thinking about stuff like this.

I had a law enforcement agency give me some .223 and 9mm ammunition recently. Hmmmm...

Some are some are not. Some are just because a warm body is available and that is not necessarily a bad thing. My current calling made sense when I was put in. Everyone felt that way. I could have been "a warm body" that could do the job. The SP made it very clear to me that the call was inspired and not just because I was a good choice for the position. They made it abudndantly clear that it was inspired. I'm not sure why that was important to them to tell me cause I would have said yes even if I was just "a warm body."

I will be surprised if this is not a topic, or at least brought up in GC.

I always find it interesting when people try to alter doctrine to thier own desires instead of accepting revealed doctrine from the Prophet who is Christ's mouthpiece on earth. If a person believes the LDS Church is true why would they try and change the doctrines. That speaks to me of arrogance and lack of conversion.

I watched about half of True Grit with Jeff Bridges. I am really enjoying it so far and anticipate I will like the rest when I finish watching.

Today is a milestone date for me. 4-1-98 I was hired by the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy Sheriff. I have reached my 15 year mark with the Sheriff's Office/UPD (16 years total). What a ride it has been!

The Eisenhorn trilogy. Now I'm halfway through the Ravenor trilogy. Sci-fi based on Warhammer 40K, specifically about the Inquistion. Good stories, I've read them several times before and am re-reading them as the final triology book 1 was recently released. All by Dan Abnett. Imagine the spanish inquisition 40000 years in the future. That's the closest I can offer to those unfamiliar with 40K.
