Moses wished that the Lord's people were worthy enough to receive the Spirit of Christ so that they themselves could be counseled by the Lord instead they coming to Moses to receive a law to regulate their conducts. Prophets are they who have the Spirit of Prophecy and who does have a Spirit of Prophecy? Revelation 19:10 - And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Hi The Doctor 1) None of the Apostles except Peter "really" knew who Jesus was. Peter was the first Apostle who heard the Father in heart concerning the true identity of Jesus. In this prayer to the FAther...Jesus refers Judas as to being the "Son of perdition". 1 Timothy 2:14 - And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Both man and woman have weaknesses and strengths due to their particular gender. The FALL. You are right...all the Evils. the Woes and the Afflictions such as old age, senility, diseases, plagues, accidents...did not exist before the fall. Hi...When one is deceived there is no choice. In being deceived one is substituting good for evil and evil for good. 1 Timothy 2:14 - And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. The Order of the punishment that followed is from the greater to the least..first the Serpent because it had the greater role in the fall. It received the harshest of punishment. Every person whether just or unjust has a portion of the Spirit of Christ. Just as When we feed the hungry, clothed the naked is doing it to Christ, so is judging another is doing it to Christ. 2. A righteous Judgment is a judgment that is RIGHT according to God's Right. So a Righteous judgment can only come when it is given by the Spirit of God. 3. No man is allowed to judge another man except he is that man's Spiritual leader and has been given the Spirit of judgment. 4. We can move away from judging good and evil..for example by labeling Life experiences as comfortable or uncomfortable. The gospel of repentance is still about love...and this is what the Lord prophesied for our day. Matthew 24:12 - And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. The true gospel of Christ gets in the way of the worldly. So few people will receive this gospel because they are completely blinded and hypnotized by all the glitter the world has to offer. So if one is not under the law because he has learned to be led by the Spirit of God...so how can he sin? Your question...is great and there some really neat stuff not considered nor taught ....yet that is. First of all few realize this...the Jesus was chosen to be the Mediator for us and the Father before we went into the Fall. And Jesus loved us so much that He knew He would have to give up some of that Glory that was already His to follow us in the Fall when it will happen. God knew this would happen and we know this because Jesus one day prayed unto His Father for the same Glory [not more or less] that He had before the "world was." John 17:5 - And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. This had to occur because nothing sinful, guilty, unclean can come into the presence of the Father neither can the Father because of His glory ever come near these without destroying His Creations. Jesus once He gave up some of His glory could minister to us. As for Jesus have problem going to see the Father because He took the sins of the world....Jesus said... John 16:33 - These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. All who like Jesus overcome the world are given the power of God to become true Sons and daughters of GOD [Father]. Hi justamere10 I think that you are skipping some steps...we are not commanded to lift anyone from the terrestrial kingdom into the Celestial kingdom. No man can do this. This is totally God's domain...as the man at this stage learns to hear His voice in their hearts...so that they can be taught of By the Father. Who then comes unto Christ? Hi misshalway... With a vision comes hope and with Hope comes Faith. It is a sinful thing to be without Hope..because it is called despair...and it destroy faith. Such a person is stopped totally in his track Spiritually wise. He cannot progress...To not progress is to be "damned". As for LDS families being burdened...This is due to the resistance of what we want to do and be from what God wants us to do and be. Men and woman have forsaken their roles in the Marriages as husband, wife, father, mother and their contact with God. The Home front is in trouble...the LDS divorce rate is the same or worse by a few percentage points as the Christians in some studies. Which is 50% divorce rate before their 13 th anniversary. [uS Stats 2006] Attending church meetings, doing home teachings, Geneology etc. Cannot make up for our lost contact with God. And these things become really burdensome to do the more out of sync we are with God... They are just more things we feel we have to do and deal with when we have so many problems at home. There are three possible outcomes for people in this position. Either they will leave the church so that they can lessen their burden or this Stone [curse of the law] will grind them down until they learn to call on God and become humble and meek. Leave the Church Or they shall divorce. I also have heard it said...that when a person has decided to divorce their spouse they feel like a great burden has been removed from their shoulders. They are great penalties and dues later down the road for those who take the easy way out. They have not changed themselves internally. They seek happiness by changing the environment to suit them. This goes for religion as well which is their worship. The Curse of the Law[letter] versus the Spirit of the Law is like night and day. The Lord said that if we come into the Light....we shall find his burden easy and His Yoke Light. Like many who have divorced....many Ex-Mos say when they leave the LDS church that it feels like a heavy Stone has been removed from their shoulders. That they are now much happier. However, their family problems will not go away until they resolve them with God. Becoming Christians will not make a marriage any better. The happiness they feel is because they have become more worldly. This is because some of the resistance has been removed when they dropped their burden [LDS church]. So instead of sticking with it gaining more faith, love, endurance and patience..... and see how the Lord will bring them to repentance eventually....they have sold their birth right for a mess of pottage. I know the LDS teach to endure to the end. I think that they have skipped one step....First ONE must OVERCOME and then Endure to the END. I hope this helps. Peace be unto you bert10

There are no weddings in heaven....only marriages which means Oness. However, the answer Jesus was giving them who tried to snared Him were not Pearls whom He was forbidden to give to swines [unclean]..but He did give them enough truth that they would condemn themselves with it. Weddings are not performed in heaven. They never are. But on the earth it is possible for a man and a women to wed by those who are given the keys of the kingdom. For the sealing power and authority of Christ is not undone by the Resurrection. Once a sealing is done by the Holy Spirit of Promise it is never made void unless those who have received the promises and sealings become unworthy to keep them. Any wedding performed by those who hold the keys of the Kingdom at the time of the resurrection becomes it becomes Marriage. "For others their weddings...or marriage is it done according to their faith..right? "until death do you part" -------------------------------------------------- A woman may have only but one husband in heaven...but on some other worlds...it may be possible for women to have more than one husband. I cannot rule is out. On the earth the whole truth is not revealed to all...only partially. And after death...GOD shall decides in conjunction with the woman if she wants to have her own husband or become a sister wife. Hi Palerider. The people shall perish when the people have no vision. Without vision there can be no hope. And without Hope there can be no faith in which to overcome. We LDS have been given a vision which to hope for. Proverbs 29:18 - Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Romans 8:24 - For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
