Backroads
Husband stumbled upon a rule of thumb concerning wealth in Mongolia: If you have 200 or less sheep, you are considered poor. I have no sheep. Therefore impoverished. How do you fare? *I suppose this thread could be used for sheep jokes, musings on the relativity of wealth, and various unrelated tangents. zil
I have fewer than 200 sheep, so apparently, I'm poor. In fact, I don't even have a stuffed sheep, and I don't think I have anything made of wool, so I'm probably dirt poor. Maybe I can get the government to give me free sheep... Fether
My city has an annual sheep parade where a herd (?) of sheep are brought right down Main Street. It’s a pretty big event here! Regardless, only a few families have all the sheep. That darn 1% >:( WE ARE THE 99!!! mordorbund, zil and Sunday21 1

This is why I haven't moved to Mongolia. The cost of living is way too high. Fether, mrmarklin and zil 2
Grunt
I have sheep, pigs, ducks, chickens, etc. They are currently in the freezer for the winter. I suppose I'm seasonally destitute. Sunday21, mirkwood and zil

I try to count sheep at night. But I never get to 200 unless I have insomnia. So, I'm insanely rich? Or frazzledly poor? If you make 15 shillings a week and spend 20, you're poor. If you make 15 shillings a week and spend 10, you're rich. Edited November 13, 2017 by Guest

Traveler
I understand that a millionaire is someone that sustains assets in excess of $1,000,000. My personal assets (considering spiritual only) are in excess of far more (exponentially more) than that. I am one of the richest - not just alive now but enclusive to human history.
