  1. If media ever decide to pick up that angle, no doubt that's what they would make it into- however at the moment they would have the same problem, as much as accusing her of murder is a problem. Right now the left has a better position than that since the majority of the deaths have been ruled something other than homicide (altho hopefully the FBI is looking into them, but considering how emails were handled doesn't inspire much confidence)- all they'd have to say for the moment is the right is so desperate to get hillary out of the race that they would say anything, and they would be right.... all the right has is a theory that happens to fit a few facts. if the left decided to take the angle i have layed out they shoot all the rulings of deaths not being homicide out the window, which would then throw more suspicion on hillary, as well as put them in the same spot the right is; that the right could say that they are so desperate to defend hillary that they are willing to say anything to keep her in the race. But it wouldn't require a vast conspiracy... only two maybe three people, one with a good ear to the ground, taking advantage of a unique situation, from any platform, or perhaps even multiple platforms. Exactly- if she were to tell the truth the only people who'd really believe her would be her devout folllowers If she is part of a greater conspiracy, then yes (but you then have to prove racketeering and prove that greater conspiracy or something like that if i recall right at least that's what i seem to recall the FBI using to take down organised crime), or if she actually hired folks with the intent of murder then yes (however her being part of a bigger conspiracy would explain such deaths better, but if it's the case that she is the head or close to it, it runs the problems i layed out previously in the thread).... otherwise there's a problem- generally people that have homicidal tendencies tend to hide them, and hide them well. otherwise if someone of her group said "let me handle it" and then a death occured and she didn't offer it to the authorities or the FBI, then also yes... however I doubt the murderer would have been this direct in seeking "authorization" (for lack of a better word at the moment). Guilty of other crimes yes. however of the deaths, not quite as easily, even the circumstance is stretched thin on that one, and the ability to link them to the others is fairly tenuous. As for murder to be shocking in political circles... eyebrow raising more like, shocking? no. My question to the world in that regard is why isn't there more? This would be a change of MO from the past.. altho it is true a person could change, or perhaps they felt they couldn't get away with such in the past (either would be difficult to prove)- While Murderers are almost always liars, not all liars are murderers.
  2. I haven't heard anything to the affect that physical beings absolutely cannot visit the spirit world.
  3. And why procrastination is a subtle death. When we are all are resurrected those who are wicked will be wicked still, and those who are good will be good still. On a seperate note i've always wondered why the thought of foreknowledge lets the doer off the hook for their actions.
  4. The Son and he Holy Ghost are worthy of worship. However Christ has commanded us to pray to the father, so to Him we direct them. however if someone prays to Christ i severely doubt it would be held to him as a sin. Any of the Fathers children who do righteousness bring him glory, and i Doubt that this is a one way thing.... of all his children, Christ was by far the greatest. Christ and his father are so unified that without the Holy ghost one would not be able to tell which one was which... and what you direct towards one is also directed to the other, Christ represents his father in every way. And as Christ is Like his father we are to be like Christ.
  5. 1.5 to afford women protection and support. this can vary on how it's done... in times where women have few rights sometimes marriage can offset that.
  6. You could generate a field or something that would sweep matter around to the opposite end that it was pointing and compress it there.
  7. well i suppose that i'd take power rangers over power puff girls.... but that's cool that they did that tho.
  8. I was assuming physical movement, and generally tend to put esp with things along more the lines of magic..... however, if you implement telepethy of some sort i suppose you could have a waldo/avatar at a target point that is capable of being interfaced telepathically that could offer some or all the physical inputs. you could explain it with some mumbo jumbo of how the brain has some active quantum tunneling or some such going on. Another ESP idea i've come across was the ability through sheer force of will to rend and remake reality.
  9. I've always thought it was along the lines of bending and compressing spacetime altho it may have a couple voodoo hijinks to go along with that.
  10. most people mix up freedom- the choices that one has before them, and will- the ability to recognise and choose between those choices. Freedom can be stripped from an individual.... I don't have any reason to believe that will can, save it is voluntary.
  11. stargates use a form of wormhole
  12. for personnel transport, warping of some sort is probably going to be the best bet for FTL transport, barring that the next one would probably be atomic superassembly over distance one (ie transporters and replicators). But for non paranormal transport, having a super efficient brute force system works too.
  13. 1) If one could figure out how to manipulate atomic structure precisely on a massive scale this would be feasible- however Dr. McCoy's fear is quite reasonable- how do you know you're not killing yourself and creating a duplicate? 2 and 3 are basically the same- and theoretically it's feasible... just that the energy requirements are what put it out of reach, as well as finding something other than mass that can warp spacetime. 4 would be a spinoff of 2 and 3. this would only be useful for long lived items/beings in relation to the rest of the universe in terms of travel. however as a means of combat or storage this would be insanely useful. 6) this is what hyperspace is. basically if you can go to another existance that overlaps with ours that has a different spacial structure (so that say going a mile there would translate to going one AU here or something.. the problem would be transitioning between the two supposing that such an alternate reality sort of thing existed) 7) youd need a combination of force fields, possible warp tech, as well as a way to change one's inertial status without using brute force.. or be able to apply the same force to all atoms in the traveling object/person equally and simultaneously. generally higher speeds demand higher energy tho. 8) could always go for a hitchhikers guide improbability drive
  14. different levels of flooding. once you get enough water to a certain point it just becomes hard to contain period, no matter what you do. It's most likely built to a certain expectation and the current situation has surpassed it. The mississippi flatlands are prone to flooding, which can have quite a variation in degree.... but in general as civilization builds up, and builds up water control it tends to amplify the affects of rain and flooding down river as well.
  15. or let them destroy themselves.
  16. God the father because that is who we pray to.
  17. rereleased on mobile devices now (at least the original version anyways). :)
  18. not really a book... but in regards to spies; the spy vs spy comic collections (they were published in the MAD magazine), are awesome.
  19. True. and A lot of truth to that. which is probably why no headline of republican leaning media (at least onesi've seen so far which isn't many, and not saying the opinion sections haven't- those have been pretty rife) has officially posted that she's guilty or in cahoots with any of the deaths that are close to the Dem party/ or clintons. You can get sued if you go too far. probably also a bit of a waiting game at the moment as well, jut to see if anything else comes out before the heavy hitters start taking stands.
  20. If they haven't promised any, they are not required to... however my understanding is that a celestial person will not have the want to deny people blessings, even their enemies. Such would hinge more on laws that are in place and promises and things of that nature.
  21. I would also recommend "Expedition" by Douglas Barlowe. It's somewhat similar to the dinotopia bopks in that its an genre art portfolio basically set to the tune of a diary... in this case a zoologist/artist who is on an expedition to the fourth planet in a system named the darwin system. Fun story, and very very excellent art. (Barlowe was one of the guys recruited to help design Pandoran creatures in the movie Avatar).
  22. earlier heinlein, anyways.
  23. Unless youre in space... In which case you have to delimb every limb
  24. There are times when something is deemed to harmful to bring to the public, even when the entity that does the hiding had no part in it at all. Of course that is what it screams, that is about the first thing that everyone who had any doubts about the clintons is thinking... Its seems so blatently obvious.... At least that is how our brains like to fill the gap anyways and connect what few dots there are. However it strikes me as too obvious a very shortsighted and stupid move on the clintons part if it really was connected to them- considering they already have had their fair share scandals, courts, legislatures and deals that shouldve had people calling for their heads on a plate yet were able to get by without hardly a scratch, without death being involved.... Why change tactics now? Why not use their expertise and high connections, bribing power, media power and etc? now if it wasnt the clintons (and assuming it wasnt bad coincidence), then it was a good move in that it accomplishes making a significant portion of the populace seriously wondering if she is a murderer, or convinced that she is. She takes the blame, at the same time it also moves many voters away from her. And by now this is so ingrained by media that should the verdict be that she is innocent that either verdict will go unheard, or many will be convinced that shes bought out the judge and jury.
  25. only controversial as one wants her to be I suppose. There really isn't enough personal info. She and JS weren't exactly the most detailed people when it came down to recording the minutia of private life.
