    Sorry to hear that... But in general the paper book market has been drying up. Theres hardly any bookstores around here anynmore. And the one or two that are still around dedicate more store space to other things than books.

    Sure, when someone commits a crime against you. However that is the eye for an eye route, and not the best option.

    You are correct. Christ said to pray to the father... Outside of that tho i suppose if one were tonpray to some one else, christ would be the best alternative. I know some lds that have but thats usually a case of just adjusting to the new culture and things along that line especiallynif they were from another christian faith previously.

    In regards to the subject, the biggest problem would be the assumptional foundation, after that the flow is reasonable.

    /facepalm 1) thats not even funny and 2) it doesn't even come close to that. the stockholm argument is more reasonable but still falls short of being as dire or as heavy or as accurate in consequences as the SSA issue...

    I doubt the missionary will get into trouble.......... However id put money down that within a couple of zone or mission conferences that there will be some sortbof guideline introduced on what to do in that situation.

    I think commit is a very accurate term- as one has has succsessfully changed their situation through premeditation followed by action. Once one commits suicide succsessfully there is no turning back-it is a permanent and drastic change. I do not think their term should b expunged any more than commiting to any other goal by action and intent. This seems to be more about political correctness.

    Logic is great, as long as you have enough of the right info in the right parameters. A calculator can give you a perfect answer, a calculator can also give you a perfect wrong answer. Would god know that he didnt know?

    Hindsight is always 20/20. Either a) their hearts were turned or b) they truly believed they could achieve their cause in some manner or the other, or c) both the above. I imagine it is probably not too dissimilar from how people fall away from the gospel when that hapens even the small and simple things are not so obvious anymore.
