1- i think thats a pretty good view of it. 2. I know a man who had definitive answers from god to join other faiths before god brought him to the LDS faith. What he learned in those faiths gave him the experience that he needed to remain strong in the lds faith when he faced severe trials after joining the LDS faith. 3. I cant confirm that. Until i get better knowledge of it, that is what i will hope for, but not expect.

Id wager he'd get called to lead the lds church in relatively short order. Supposing in the hypothetical that it exists and is lead by the Spirit.

I think so too, however i doubt he would go out of his way on it, more likely the modern day pharisees would bring the subject to him, to try to trap him.

You repent for your actions if your actions resulted in there being a baby then you have responsibility to the child. i would imagine that taking up that responsibility as much as one can would be considered part of the repentence.

Ya i think we have a tendency to try to compare ourselves to perfection, and do not handle failure well......... However, compared to the paranoia, evilspeaking, evilstriving of the world in general the church is a much calmer place.

We have very little knowledge of the pre life war. According to the iroquis (misspelled sorry) indians thats how we got our moon. So no idea, perhaps it was a great debate... Perhaps it entailed more than just a verbal exchange, i have no idea. As for the post millenial one its going to mak all previous wars on this world look tame. Yes it will be at least physical. The war in heaven appears in many of the older religions. We did not have a physical body or world and such resources to use in the first one, that is going to be different in the second one.

That is true. Also consider that Christ visited other people which would have influenced things... As well that God also had prophets before the israelites all the way up to adam who taught of christ who would have been a very top important figure. Also man tends to copy more than invent, so when people broke away from gods teachings they still would use what they already knew to set up their own things. There are truths in many religions, whether if someone was humble enough to get some touch of the spirit, or as a remnant from older times.

I believe christ's reply to the pharisees when he was accused of blasphemy was, "is it not written, 'ye are gods'?". I also find both the devils and gods comments they make in the garden of eden to be rather interesting in relation to gods.

Unless i recieve specific revelation on them, i take the all three ways. As forliteralness i try to hold back my preconceptions as much as possible.

They live. Let us not forget that all those who are born here strove to some degree or another with God in the previous life. Thats got to count for something... That and we are all his family.( how would you treat one of your own children if they totally rejected you?) there blessings we get, just for being us, there are blessings that all you have to do is ask for, and then there are blessings for which you really, really have to sacrifice for first before you get them.
