Haven't done too much global trotting since then. My favourite getaway locations would be the Philippines and the UK because I have so many great childhood memories there :]Here's my map. Quote

Guest Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 Philippines, HongKong and in the US - Hawaii, California, Nevada, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee. Planning a trip to Arizona next and when the kids are a little older - Virgin Islands, Bahamas, and then Europe and Australia. Bini, the problem with working in the US with family in the Philippines is that everytime we have a chance for a vacation, we always go back to visit family in the Philippines! It's too tempting to go home rather than go to Europe or something... Quote

It's too tempting to go home rather than go to Europe or something...I know the feeling! I'm torn as I have very good friends in PI and relatives in UK. I used to alternate and go to PI one summer and UK the next summer. I'd love to visit and explore more places here in the United States but currently my schedule doesn't permit much traveling =/ Quote

prisonchaplain Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 Well, I've lived on both U.S. coasts, and in the midwest. I've visited northern Minnesota and southern Lousiana. I lived in Korea, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. I've visited Thailand, China, Taiwan, Japan, Macau, Hawaii, spent about 5 minutes in North Korea (Panmunjom)...and enjoyed a week in Celista, BC, Canada (on the North Schushwap Lake). Oh oh oh...and one week in the lovely state of Utah, during one of the infamously rowdy LDS.net dinner gatherings. Quote
