  1. That sounds very familiar. My family moved there from England shortly after I was born in 1972. We were there for two years, then moved here to Canada. My parents were active members and knew pretty much all the members there, so chances are we probably met (not that I would remember being under 2 years old). Small world.
  2. Having been a former mod on this site, I think that they do the best they can and they certainly can't please everyone. I can tell you that every action is discussed and if the group comes to a decision that needs to be reversed, they do it. Being a mod takes a lot of these peoples time and energy, which is amazing considering they are volunteers. Great job Pam and company!!!!!!!!!!! Keep up the good work.
  3. The second one was basically "How many slow motion shots of Megan Fox running can we fit in without getting an R rating?". I saw and liked the first one, saw the second one, and will probably rent the third, maybe.
  4. My wife and I flirt all the time over BBM. Even if we are in the same room!!! Nothing too descriptive, but very suggestive. It's all in good fun. Afterwards we always clear those conversations off the phones, just in case. As far as sending naked pictures........................no.
  5. Yeah, it makes your forearms bulge and you blow steam out of a pipe!! Glad to hear you are doing well Skalenfehl. I need to lose about 50lbs and have started some excercise, but it's not going well. Life is getting in the way. At the end of this month I plan to start riding my bike to work, so that's a start.
  6. I say flirt with him a little. What harm can come of that, you may even discover something about yourself. There's a masculine test? What are the questions? ex. Can you spit and grab your crotch at the same time and if so, how often?
  7. The TRUE Canadian team - Boston (more Canadians than Vancouver) Don't make me take your gumdrop buttons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm in way to good a mood to debate the merits and pitfalls of each education system.........................so I'll just say ours rules!!!!!!Thanks everyone!!! I had a great day and it even spilled over into today.
  8. If it were proven false, I would have a lot more free time. Instead of spending 3 hours in church, I would be on the golf course, or spending time outdoors with my family. I might have a drink or two during the week. Other than that, my life wouldn't change much. It's a good, sensible way to live anyway. Why change it dramatically?
  9. I expect both cakes to be shipped FedEx ASAP as there is a postal strike here. I don't want to be eating any moldy cake!!!!Thanks for the wishes.
  10. Only 40? We have close to 60, plus over 100 in Primary, plus another 20 at least to young for nursery. And that doesn't count the pregnant women, of which, someone new is pregnant every week it seems. This is actually quite disheartning for me and my wife who had a stillborn child this past year. For her to go and see everyone getting babies but us has really damaged her testimony. Sorry for the downer.
  11. Battlestar Gallactica was closer. Kolob = Kobol 12 tribes = 12 colonies lost tribe = lost colony = Earth = Nephites It all makes sense now doesn't it. Battlestar Gallactica was written by a Mormon, so this isn't a stretch.
  12. Whew, At least another year before I can be considered for a Bishop. After my 5 year anniversary, time to go inactive again!!!!!! :p
  13. In celebration of this great day I came to work dressed as Chewy!!! Almost immediately thay asked me to put some pants on!!!:lol:
  14. I think a 5 year old could have written a better script then that one (not yours anatess, I'm sure yours would have rocked).
  15. Missing 2 classes and you get in trouble?!?!?! I can't count the number of classes I skipped and never got in trouble. We were even cought sneaking out by the band teacher and he let us go!!! Times certainly have changed. I feel old now.
  16. Darn!! I thought this was a thread about Pam!!! :p:p Tron was a huge dissapointment for me. It was slow and a little preachy (about creating the perfect society0 as well. The special effects were good, but not great, and the acting was terrible. Too bad I spent the money on the blu-ray/dvd/digital copy movie pack. Oh well, live and learn.
  17. My wife has vaginismus (sp?) and I can relate to your brother. It's an instant mood killer when you see your wife wince in pain. I mean how pleasurable is it to have a ring on that's too small. Sorry for the crudeness. It's been 4 years since we were married and it has gotten better, but there are times where it is still physically impossible to have intercourse. Now we have found a way around that, but it took time for both me and my wife to be confortable with the situation. PS - my wife will kill me if she knows that I said this, so shush!!!!
  18. Is your current Legacy a wagon? If so, it's bigger than a Forester. If not, you could go to an Outback or Legacy wagon. Both are bigger than the Forester. Subie's are very reliable and for an AWD vehicle they do get good mileage. Best of luck.
  19. I thought you were Pam! Well now, this is confusing. Both of you can't be lost.Ok, Pam, you are lost 1 and Jennarator, you are lost 2. That should clear everything up.
  20. I thought it was April 6, 1830?Maybe it didn't gain full acceptance until 1932.
  21. I'm not sure about Wingnut's news, but Funky mentioned a fiance in a thread. There you go Pam, you are up to date. I think.
  22. Because it's the first three numbers backwards:165 561 See?!?!?!
  23. I am always pointing out weird numbers on the odometers of our cars to my wife. She thinks I'm a little nuts (in a cute way of course).Right now I'm waiting for my car to get to 165561. That's km's by the way. Only a few hundred left!!
  24. Bring it on Pam !!!!!!!!!Hmmm no infraction yet!!!!!!
