I was told that by so many people. I don't know if they went there. It just made me dislike byu.
I didn't go there. I have siblings who did.

I will always cheer against byu. I was told by everyone at church that it's the Lord's school and if you are a good member, then you go to byu and cheer for them.
It left a bad taste in my mouth and I will always be against them.
I will say it was better for the other teams in the pac12 that Utah lost.  That's the only good thing I can say about the last utah/byu game.

Pay off the house, put money aside for the kids, then find my land for my forever home. I plan on leaving the city and never coming back once my kids are raised. I mean out in the country away from people. Plan a huge chicken area, orchards, raspberries, black berries, grapes, blueberries, a few cows, some old horses that too old for riding, a green house for veggies and flowers year round and amazing gardens in the summer.
Not much would change for the day to day. I would also get custom cowboy boots and a killer pair of heels.

My dad is simply amazing. He is one of the best men that I have ever know. He is one of many kids. Dirt floor poor. All kids shared a bed and snow would come inside the holes in the wall. He talked about not having shoes or more than one pair of pants. His father was an abusive alcoholic.  It makes me so sad that any child would be in the situation that he was.
Dad left most of it behind to get away from it all. He went to college. He joined the Navy. He worked his butt off so that his kids could have what he never had. We had food, a warm home and clothes.
He is the first to help people. He was going through cancer treatment and he would be out helped people. He would chop wood for the single women in his ward or helping with their cars.  No one knew how sick he was.
There is a poem called the bridge builder. That is my dad. I am who I am because of him.

We watch football. It's a great way for our family to bond and spend time together.
I grew up on a farm. We had to work on Sunday. Animals need fed and water, crops need taken care of. Calving season didn't stop for Sunday.  Dad had to get up extra early on Sundays to make it to church on time. It was never a day of rest.

My grandfather was orphaned very young. His sister was adopted and he was kicked out of foster care at 13. He got a cabin in the mountains and trapped animals for fur. He found bob cat kittens. Their mom was dead. He raised them and they were his pets. I thought it was a joke until I saw a picture of him and his kitties.
His town got snowed in and the people were hungry. He fed the town deer and elk for a month.
He was old when I was born. He always seemed mean and grumpy. It amazes me to see this side of him.

Football is awesome. The upsets, the wins, the Superbowl when your team wins and then loses the next year. The sense of community. Blue Fridays were awesome in Washington. It's fun.

John Wayne movies. Big Jake, McLintock, Donavan's reef, and on. I don't like it when he is younger.
Old musicals. I loved Gene Kelly, Howard Keel, Jane powel.
My husband says I should be much older with my taste in movies and music.

Our stake has said no to home Sacrament at this time. They will review and have plans for people to get the Sacrament next week.
I don't understand this when all the ones in my family have been told it's okay if you have a temple recommend.

if they did then it would not be suprising that she will do what she wants to advance her career.

I think it's just the straw that broke the camels back. We moved to be by my husband's family. I left a state and area that I loved, friends and my family. The one thing I was told by everyone was that the wards here have lots of youth and how great it would be for my kids.
So yeah, I feel tricked by many people. I would never have moved down here if I knew we would be stuck in an old ward with no youth. There is no one my age either. It's very lonely at church. I know the Gospel is true. I just don't like how it's set up with wards.

I spend my church time with my children.  I don't need the ward members.  I miss being in a ward that had people that cared about me. I had many friends in all my past wards. I have nothing in this one.
I know the gospel is true.  I don't need church to help with that. I didn't learn about the gospel at church. I learned about it from my dad while working with him.
It's hard knowing that people who should be your 'ward family' dont care about you at all. I had friends drop everything and come help me at our old ward. They cared and helped my family so much when my daughter died. The ward we are in now wouldn't care.

I know what suffering is. Holding your dead child in your arms, watching your parent disappear due to Alzheimer's,  watching my dad and fil fight cancers, one lost his battle with it.  I have dealt with this all in the last 6 years. I know what suffering is.

I have suffered. My life has not been easy.  I won't get into that.
We had 2 houses that we looked at and liked. My husband and I both got a either house will do when we prayed.  I went with this one because I liked the ward better. I can't tell you how many times I have regretted that because of this ward. Some times there are many paths that you can go down.
I worry about my kids not having other youth in our ward. It's hard on kids to not have other youth to be around and lean on.

If I am in my early 30's and the rest of the ward is 60+ that is going to completely change the social dynamic.  I think that would be very difficult to deal with and I would just attend a different ward.
Just telling someone to up and move because they do not like their ward is unhelpful and frankly, unreasonable.  I have lived in some crap wards and moving is not the solution.  I did move and I bet those are still crap wards.  Sometimes that is how people are and it has nothing to do with you.

I want my maiden name and middle name to be missing. I don't really want a headstone.  I would rather be cremated and my ashed made into a diamond or scattered on my mountain.  If I have to be buried then I want a natural graveyard and huge monster rock placed over me and some flowering bush or tree around.
