I was off the grid for a while earlier this year and just found out about Ray Liotta yesterday. 

Funny thing is, this isn't the first time I've been out of the loop on a big celeb death. I was in Iraq when Dio passed away and didn't find out about it until a few years later.

Oof.  Noodle the Pug died, and at least two of my family members cried.  Dude was 14.

This is a measure of your online hipness.  Noodle the Pug had a tiktok account, where his person would post periodic "bones day" tests.    Basically, Noodle's owner would pick up the elderly Noodle and place him on his feet.  If Noodle remained standing, the day was termed a "bones day", and Noodles would be mobile and active for the day.  If Noodle just tipped over, it would be a "no bones day", and the dog would rest and sleep most of the day.

The terms took off on Tik Tok and other social-media platforms, with Noodle’s fans building their days around his “Bones” forecast.

"Blow by Blow" was one of the first albums I ever bought. Can't say I became a Jeff Beck (or jazz guitar) fan from it, but the guy was a heck of a guitarist.
