That is sad. Maybe it's just a phase and after a couple movies they'll realize how much they miss your company. M.

Temple marriage for the sole purpose of having sex?
Maureen replied to chasingthewind's topic in LDS Gospel Discussion
Matthew 5:28 is in relation to adultery. It does not seem to apply to a single man or woman with natural sexual desires. IMO, your friend's brother is doing the right thing based on this scripture. M. -
Return to Me with David Duchovny and Minnie Driver? I love that movie. M.

Could it be The Circle Game by Joni Mitchell. I think it came out in 1970. http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?lyrics=5649 M. -
This is great. I love the holy water and holy rice. M.

Does that mean you don't eat soup either? M.

This article provides pictures. Those flood waters look crazy. http://www.deseretnews.com/article/865687657/Harvey-in-Houston-LDS-temple-threatened-meetinghouses-damaged-missionaries-safe.html M.

That's very interesting. MDDB is the Mormon Dialogue and Discussion Board. M.

This was being talked about at the MDDB forum and I noticed no one has mentioned it here. @Sunday21, would this change be helpful in the Temples you work at? http://www.deseretnews.com/article/865687431/Single-Mormon-men-over-30-divorcees-now-can-officiate-temple-ordinances.html M.

Definitely love Lars and the Real Girl and Stranger Things. M.

Why does one service have to better than the other? Why can't they both be good. M.

I love Stranger than Fiction, my favorite Will Ferrell movie. One of the non-HD channels is airing Buffy episodes, it's been fun watching them again. I like Miss Marple but I've never been a Poirot fan. There are certain movies I can watch multiple times, usually because I can have them in the background, still enjoy them without having to pay serious attention. I like The Intern (Robert Deniro, Anne Hathaway), The Martian (Chiwetel Ejiofor, Donald Glover), Limitless (Bradley Cooper), Sense and Sensibility (Emma Thompson). For TV, PBS is now airing the newest episodes of Endeavor and in October they will air Season 3 of Poldark, but I must confess that I've already seen it since my daughter has a Smart TV Box and while I was kitty sitting I treated myself to Season 3. ? But I will be watching it again come October. M.

I'll say #3 is a lie, since it seems like a very possible situation. M.

My husband's family love ginger beer and ginger wine (both non-alcoholic). For me, terrible tasting stuff. M.

@LiterateParakeet, my comment was in response to @Carborendum's comment not really believing a person can be a moderate drinker based on polling non-moderate drinkers. We do exist. M.

I am a moderate drinker. I can go weeks even months without having alcohol. And if I do, I am fine with one glass of wine or half a glass of beer (usually have beer when it's extremely hot outside, cold beer is very refreshing). M.

This hymn is popular in protestant congregations and many here will recognize the melody because it's the same as Israel, Israel, God is Calling. But this song is What a Friend we have in Jesus.

What the heck is wrong with young men today?
Maureen replied to Just_A_Guy's topic in LDS Gospel Discussion
How do you know it was 3 days growth? Did you actually ask him? Maybe facial hair just grows on him like nobody's business. M. -
But you must have heard of Ballroom Blitz (radio, TV)? M.

I read the rest of the thread. It's great that you both have come to agree but you still cherry picked what you commented on, ignoring the rest of the post where @MormonGator was pointing out that he recognized that characteristic since he used to be just like that. Don't whine about how other posters comment if you're going to do the exact same thing. M.

Now who's cherry picking and not reading the post in context? M.
