Vort Posted January 6, 2012 Report Posted January 6, 2012 Ohhhh, I love popularity contests....I am featured in several of these lists precisely because I am so popular on LDS.net. People here say my name with a smile and with pleasant anticipation of stimulating and fun conversation. And I never, ever get hate mail. And should I ever feel the need for absolute universal approval, I will simply switch my avatar back to the big-eyed Icelandic girl. Quote

Dravin Posted January 6, 2012 Report Posted January 6, 2012 (edited) You get BILLS on LDS.net?!I'll take the hate mail. It's a surcharge based on beauty. It's why I don't get charged anything but we've had to get a second mortgage to pay for Beefche's participation. At least Mods get a discount. Jennarator Posted January 6, 2012 Report Posted January 6, 2012 This thread proves an ancient proverb to be true: tis better to give than to receive. This thread proves we are all a bunch of goof balls with too much time on our hands....maybe we should put that time to something productive? Naw......what's better than handing out advice, sharing news stories, and hanging out online? LOL! Quote
applepansy Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 How about RS teacher? It's only once a month. Or a VT supervisor--calling sisters to see if they've got their VT done. How about librarian where I can just hand out chalk and erasers! LOL Quote
NeuroTypical Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 Heh - people are picking me for Exec Sec and Ward Clerk. I've had both those callings. Either y'all are inspired, or my Bishops have been able to see the blindingly obvious. Quote

JudoMinja Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 You know, I just realized something... Since we are constructing an LDS.net ward, wouldn't any Primary callings be obsolete? Cuz... nobody who's Primary age participates on the forums, unless we want to include family members of forum participants. I know several of us have Primary age kids. Quote

Maureen Posted January 8, 2012 Report Posted January 8, 2012 (edited) I'm going to add my list even though I am confused by the list of callings that are available in this ward (I've never really got the hang of all the titles), but here it goes anyway: Bishop: prisonchaplain Counselors: Maureen, Godless Clerk: MOE Exec Sec: Vort EQ Pres: Suzie HPGL: Backroads Primary Pres: slamjet Primary Music Leader: JAG RS Pres: hordak Sunday School Pres: beefche Ward Missionary Leader: RipplecutBuddha YM Pres: Soulsearcher YW Pres: pam I know that hordak hasn't been posting for months but maybe the new calling will change that. Therefore I cannot sustain prisonchaplain, and move that Maureen take her rightful calling. I believe I heard a chorus of 2nds. Any objections (please note the two heavily armed correctional officers quietly looking). Good. So moved.Okay...carry on. Quote

prisonchaplain Posted January 8, 2012 Report Posted January 8, 2012 We'll have a large (40' X 40') trap door in the foyer that opens whenever 20 or more are on it. As they plummet to the swim pool (8-ft deep) a team circles the parimeter repeating the appropriate blessings. Quote
