I got this from other sources (actually not LDS).  My guess: the backlash was quick and youtube put it back up.

Or maybe a bunch of Anti's hit the report button... and an automatic process kicked in until it got reviewed...  Or who knows

That would be my guess as well.  It would be hard to believe that there would be someone dimwitted enough at youtube to shut it down.  At least not someone who wanted to keep their job.

This.   There was likely no human on youtube's side that suspended it.  Likely, someone who didn't like the site created a lot of accounts with a script and reported the website multiple times.  Once enough reports are made from enough accounts, youtube accounts are temporarily suspended.

This is not true.  Youtube doesn't do automated suspensions.  All suspensions had a human behind it.

Yes, I saw that after I posted and did some more research.   

Weird.  It could have been an employee who doesn't like Mormons or a glitch.

Could it be that youtube got the "memo" a couple days earlier than Pres. Nelson's official statement, and this was all about the "Mormon" in Mormon Channel?
